She is also pursuing a minor in Theater and an outside concentration in Business.
At 15 years old, she was enrolled in Miami-Dade College where she began taking only dual enrollment courses, graduating high school with her diploma, a 6.4 GPA, and the Summa Cume Laude honor. Lauren has a passion for dance, traveling, and meeting new people.
Lauren enjoys getting involved with her College and University. She currently serves as producer of the Midday Tailgate and Sportscene radio shows for ESPN 850 AM, a news camera operator for Florida's 5 WUFT-TV, and a sports radio reader for 89.1 FM. She is also a member of Phi Mu sorority, assistant director for Gator Growl, and assistant pageant director for Jamaican-American Student Association. Her favorite quote is "The only chances we regret are the chances we don't take." She strongly believes that taking chances she wouldn't have taken otherwise is the reason she is where she is today.
